My main focus today has been on Zoom delivery of my talk “Survival of the Fattest”.
It is however highly relevant to the COVID19 debate as I discuss how dietary guidelines/choices have predisposed the population of 2020 to obesity, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and the other signs of metabolic illness that are highly correlated with poor COVID19 outcomes.
The talk has a brief extra session at the end looking at how the body’s response to infection is impacted by metabolic disease and how immediate change can instant effect.
