Low Level Laser Therapy

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a form of therapy that applies low-power laser light to the surface or orifices of the body.  Whereas “high-power” lasers are used  to cut or destroy tissue, low-power lasers are used to relieve pain or to stimulate and enhance cell function.

LLLT is used to relieve pain for rheumatoid and osteoporosis-arthritis, acute and chronic neck pain, tendon pain and chronic joint disorders. There is also evidence for LLLT being useful in the treatment of lower back pain and skin wound healing.
